Jaguar F Pace
We recently had the pleasure of addressing the staining issue on the seat base of this lovely Jaguar F Pace. Upon inspection, we noticed a large area of brown staining covering the majority of the passenger seat base.
To tackle this, we began by deep cleaning the seat base using a robust leather cleaner and a brush. This meticulous process allowed us to penetrate deep into the grain, effectively removing dirt and debris from the pores of the leather. Following the cleaning, we prepped the area with a strong leather prep, which removes the manufacturer’s finish and helps eliminate staining in most cases. This step revealed the extent of the work needed for the leather repair technician.
Next, we applied a stain blocker to the seat base, which seals in the stain and prevents it from bleeding through in the future. With the area prepped, we proceeded to apply coats of leather dye, starting with a base coat by hand to ensure the dye penetrates the leather grain for better adhesion. We then applied several thin coats using an airbrush, resulting in a smooth and flawless finish.
To complete the repair, we sealed the leather dye with three coats of top finish, providing a strong and durable finish. We are pleased to share the impressive transformation with you, and we hope you are satisfied with the results.
